Biography
Dr. Wong is a partner with Metro Urology, one of the largest private practice groups in the Midwest. Dr. Wong was born in Hong Kong and raised in Winnipeg, Canada. He is fluent in both English and Cantonese. He obtained his M. D. from the University of Manitoba in 1986 and completed his Urology Residency at the same institution in 1992.
Following his residency, he completed a two-year fellowship sub-specializing in endourology/kidney stone disease at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He is Board Certified in both the United States and Canada. His clinical interests include kidney stones, Urologic oncology, laparoscopic surgery and robotic surgery.
Dr. Wong is also a member of our daVinci® surgical team for robotic assisted prostatectomies and treatment of prostate cancer.
Dr. Wong is married and has two sons. His outside interests include golf and tennis.
